Hi everyone,

im sorry I have not posted in a while. Life has been pretty hectic: in addition to being a school administrator, I am in the middle of writing my doctoral dissertation. I do think of you often and check in from time to time.

Just wanted to share a picture. It’s been a while since we have had the Divine Liturgy, but today we were fortunate to have the Metropolitan of the Philippines and Vietnam. It was only the second time I have been to the Divine Liturgy with more than one clergy and it was beautiful.

Please pray for us as we are still in the process of forming our own parish.

(I’m case you’re wondering, we have to use a Roman Catholic Church).

Hello Father,

I am pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership. My dissertation title is A Qualitative Study on the Perceptions of Teachers as Armed Personnel. I have submitted my proposal to the IRB and I am waiting for their response.

It's always great to hear from you! I've been MIA quite a bit myself. But we are always glad to hear from you.

I find it interesting how there are icons in front of the Roman statues

David - if you have to borrow an RC Church , you can't take out their ' fixtures and fittings '

I've seen many an Icon placed in front of an RC Statue , or an Anglican one too so that an Orthodox Priest can serve Divine Liturgy for his flock,

yep, we had to do this when I was at a mission parish that met in a Lutheran chapel.
