  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What crime is worthy of eternal torcher?
Greetings
Since the cross we are in a period called the age of grace, this is a time were salvation by trusting in what Jesus has done to pay for sin, this is called faith in his Sacrifice for sin.

God see all the sins any one does right now as being done without knowledge there right or wrong, the only sin you held accountable for now is rejecting Jesus to be your personal Saviour.

What is a Saviour? Your going to be judged right and here are a few of those questions you'll may be faced with.
1.Ever told a lie?
2.Ever looked at someone and had a dirty thought?
3.Have you always treated your parents with respect?
4.Have you all ways put God first?
5.Ever used his name in a cuss word?
6.Have you ever wanted something someone else had?

Did you fail at least one?
In the Scriptures, james 2:10 says If you have broken one of those, your Charged with the Whole Ten, because those are the Ten Commandments God with hold beside the good works you would try to do to get into heaven.

Thats why we needed a Saviour, we all will fail those every time, when you understand this is what he did, your close to being saved from that payment because the only key to escape being held to that Standard is by Jesus.

If you see what he has done to save you, tell him your sorry talk to him, like you was talking to your self because he will be there when you start talking to him, it all about getting to know who Jesus is, not what we do.

OK, don't get me wrong i am a Christian, but I am also reading your responses to this in a way that makes me notice the side of a non-Christian.

I just want to know to clarify to anyone reading through this thread. How can you be so sure that God's judgement is just? Have you ever been under His judgement? Do you know anyone who has come back to tell you of it? Is it not true that people KNOW something from learning it through either their actions or someone's actions of whom they trust? If this is the case then how can you truly be sure that God's ultimate decision for you IS just?

If you can answer this with something other than a scripture or a very vague one liner, then you are doing way better than me.

God is Just because He says He is.

Psalm 45:6
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

God's rule is just, it is His justice that rules His Knigdom.

God Bless You All,:groupray:
