  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've been reading a book called, "Good News About Injustice," by Gary A. Haugen, and it talks about all the injustices in our world, and what WE can do about them. One problem that really struck me was child prostitution. In our world today, more than one million NEW children are forced into prostitution every year, and this happens all over the world. Just think about this, let it sink in - one MILLION kids - that's more than the entire population of Fiji, one-sixth of the population of Laos, or one-fifth of Denmark. Even like that, it's still a big number that's hard to comprehend. But there's more - that's only the new kids every year. There are millions more who have been locked up in brothels for years already.
These kids are kidnapped off the streets. They get no choice, they have no say, and they can do nothing about it.
What this book goes on to say is that we CAN make a difference. What appears at first to be impossible, we find possible (the word itself says 'I'm possible').

"One voice can make a song; one life can change the world."

I have only just started to research what IS actually happening in our world; what's happening to children who have no say. If anyone is interest in this, or has any sites that might prove useful, I would greatly appreciate you help and input.

God Bless,
Steffi :)
