  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

anyone ever heard of that death metal band from florida called Yeti?

their lead singer was the super death metal growls on the last track of the first underoath album, "Acts of Depression". Those guys were pretty awesome. too bad they never did much else aside from play around florida. they ahd one full length, which is really hard to come by, and thenthere are some songs on their myspace page from an EP that was never released.

I enjoy many different types of metal. Christian metal is a favorite of mine because I like the message it promotes. But I love listening to multiple other types of metal. Some of my favorite Christian metal bands include...
As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, For Today, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, A Plea For Purging, Austrian Death Machine, The Chariot, Haste the Day, MyChildren MyBride, Norma Jean, Oh, Sleeper, Righteous Vendetta, The Showdown, In the Midst of Lions, Impending Doom, and others that I cannot recall.

I don't enjoy nu-metal that much but System of a Down is a personal favorite (though I don't support much of their themes.) And interestingly enough I've been digging a Japanese-genre-fusion-metal band lately. Maximum the Hormone. They're pretty filthy (metal wise that is.)

Destroy The Runner

Ah Destroy the Runner. I went to kindergarten and grew up with their original singer. We were in a band in high school. Haven't seen him since he joined DTR (and subsequently quit) but I miss that guy.

I never heard of ANY of em except Pantera, but then I'm old school Rock/Roll
The Stones, AC/DC & Areosmith, were about as wild as I could go, but maybe
I'll give some of em a listen on JANGO (free internet radio), if I can let go of
my habit of Tom Petty long enough :)
