If you want help you have to become naked for the doctor.
Please be less cryptic, I still don't understand. As to my opinion, I think all three of my options are plausible and not mutually exclusive at all.

That's not how I work, son. The good news is you are ready for help, and not as injured as others.

I suppose this is a public place. But keep in mind the quality will be diminished 90%. Tell me about what ails you.
Nothing ails me specifically that I can think of. I was merely responding with a view on the question you posed. I fear we are going nowhere.

I see this a lot lately. Many people feel that life is meaningless. There is no proof that this is so. And even if it was it wouldn't be a bad thing. Going nowhere is what you do when you're out for a Sunday drive when the weather is nice.

Sir, I fear you misunderstand. I was using the English expression to state that this discussion seems to have little point if no views are offered or discussion inititiated on your part.

I sense a deep negativity with you. What happened?

Oh....I was raised in a liberal church that failed to
bring anyone to a saving faith. As a result, they
stopped bringing bibles to church and spent time
washing each others feet, buying cows, and giving
each other backrubs. You may be from there.
Do you sing a lot?

If the kingdom of heaven is within man, then why do we think of it as being after death?

I don't believe it is "within man" in the sense most people think. I know about that passage from Luke but I think there is a translation issue there.

I believe the term "kingdom of heaven" is equivalent to the term "Kingdom of God" and both refer to the rule of Jesus/God over this present material world.

This present world does not seem to be ruled by God.
Our world seems to be run by people... at least for culture, justice, health, education, etc.... you know, our world.

The rest: weather, ecology, the galaxy, etc, seems to be humming along in a way that, for all we can tell, has no ruler.

I am, of course, aware of this. But the scripture are clear, I suggest: as far as God is concerned, Jesus has been installed as a ruling sovereign over all creation. Whether people obey that sovereign, or recognize Him as such is, of course, another matter.

The kingdom already came, is here, and within the elect. What you're thinking about is salvation. Two different things.

The Kingdom of God spans earth and heaven. His Kingdom is both heaven, and within Man. That's why when Christ says "my kingdom is not of this world" the "world" is the earth, and we know who rules over it, and we know when and why he was granted permission to do so.
