  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I came across this question from another web site, and thought that this would be an excellent topic...
I must confess, heaven doesn’t excite me all that much. I see artists’ renditions and hear the biblical descriptions. For some reason, it just doesn’t push my buttons. What’s wrong?

:preach: If we think that the earth is a wonderful place to live, with all it's beauty, and we are here only for a short time, then Heaven will be a much better place because first of all, Jesus said:
Joh 14:3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Rev. gives a wonderful picture of what we have to look forward to, but really ... it is only a small picture... listen...

Isa 64:4
For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

and again it is recorded:
1Co 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
On top of all that, we are going to have new bodies, praise Jesus... no more sickness, disease, or death. WOW... yeah... lets get excited, for we have something to shout about and to look forward to. :amen:
