  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.

Jn
14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Who are all eligible to enter into heaven?

Psalm 15

A psalm of David.

1 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
2 He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart
3 and has no slander on his tongue,
who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellowman,
4 who despises a vile man
but honors those who fear the LORD,
who keeps his oath
even when it hurts,
5 who lends his money without usury
and does not accept a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things
will never be shaken.

I didn't see anything about Christianity, church or religion in there...
I had actually forgotten about this post but know I wonder why no one here seems to thinks this relates to Christianity  At least it has been defended as such

InHisPeace, please tell me how you think it isn't new testement teaching. I can give you nt scripture on every verse there if you like but I prefer to hear why you think it's not.
OP what do you think, just for the record?

"Who are all eligible to enter into heaven?"

Jesus once said: "No one gets to the Father, except through Me."

So, I guess anyone that Jesus wants to let in is eligible to enter into Heaven.

whoever believes and receives Jesus as their saviour is eligible
Jesus wants everyone of us and it is up to our own decision whether we ask Him into our hearts or not

Do you believe heaven and kingdom of God same or different one?
Why should anyone answer any of your questions when you are not accountable to even your own threads never mind any thing else?

Daniels asks: "Do you believe heaven and kingdom of God [are the] same or different one?"

I believe they are probably different.

There is the Kingdom of God.
Part of that Kingdom of God is Heaven.
Or, if not, then ALL of that Kingdom is contained in Heaven.

I think that there (probably) are other places "beyond" this World than just Heaven and Hell.
Jesus talked about Abraham's Bosom (an Afterlife for Jews).
If that place exists, then that would be part of the Kingdom of God.
And, if the Catholics are correct, there is also Purgatory.
So, maybe the Kingdom of God has a lot of places (maybe not).

There was a thread on accountability awhile back and I have asked the mods if there are rules, but everyone else goes out of there way to be understood and to make things clear. Not to confuse isues and refuse to clear them up.

It's not a matter of pardon, it's about answering questions directed to you so as not to offend. you seem to be delibertly trying to offend, ignor and otherwise disrupt this forum to the best of your ability as far as I can see and yet you want participation from others, you want them to give to your threads but seem to not want to give the slightest respect or concern in return.
Repentance is a turning of sins to God's ways, not words to make you feel good till the next 5 sec when your looking to offend again. Am i wrong?
