Health Message...Curse or Blessing?

We know what's good to eat and what's not even when sometime when we fail to do what's right.

Some people call it a health message while others call it comonsense.

Now this, I have never heard of. but I have heard about the Christimas trees(if they can get away with it, it is said that she was against them, when actually she wasn't.

Most don't know or either don't care that Counsels on Diet was not written in it's present form by EGW. It is a one of the compilations put togeter after her death. The problem I have with the compilations is that they are not put together as such, and therefore a bit disingenuous. Some of the "counsel" was given to specific circumstances, but placed in the books as if it was general counsel for all.

I look it up on my White estates CD tomorrow.... the reason why I say that is because I've seen a lot of sweets at potlucks, as well as processed 'Swiss steak' and other less than healthy dishes. As I recall, sister White spoke against potlucks too I believe...

I apologize for mis-speaking about what sister White may have said regarding potlucks... I searched the CD and unless I'm not using the proper search terms, she didn't speak against the practice as a whole...

To be honest, I am relieved (for my SDA friends and relatives) she wasn't that extreem.
