The book of Sirach is in the Catholic Bible not the Protestant bible. Protestants do not accept it as Holy and Inspired part of the Old or New Testament.
Thank you Berry. I was wondering about this book.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

s,
Praise be to God Almighty on high and His Son Jesus Christ in which all things are made. To Him be the Honor, Glory and Power for ever and ever to everlasting.
Do you read the bible, do you believe what it says, do you believe it is the actual Word of God?
Hello, I suffer from bipolar disease, yet soon it will be gone. Faith is the key, and giving up control, that is, letting God deal with it instead of myself. Does the Word not say that we must deny ourselves to follow Christ, to carry our cross daily, to be like little children.
It is not by works, dear children, that we are saved, yet by grace. We, of ourselves can do nothing to earn our salvation, it is a gift. What can we actually do to serve God, what could we actually give to Him that would make things easier for Him.
It is not by works you are saved, but by faith.
It took a long time time for me to realize what this actually meant, and how to put it in practice and it is extremely hard having this particular disease.
Yet I tell you the truth, God will heal you if you give yourself up to Him totally...this is hard for people to do because of the sin in their lives, yet that sin can be overcome by believing in Christ.
It is not just a simple matter of saying I believe, rather one must consciously give themselves to Go, totally, completely, 100%.
We will still sin, yet we have one that forgives us of our sins, that is the sacrifice of Christ has washed our sin away, and we will not want to sin because it is offensive to the Holy Spirit, who, working in us as we give ourselves over to God, will help us to see things from God's perspective.
The message is simple, children, Trust God, Obey God, Give up your life to God and He will give you an increase never imagined.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, and of love and of self discipline. 2Timothy 1:7
Love God with all that you are and He Will heal you of your afflictions.
Remember what He said to the Apostle Paul, in your weakness, my power is made the greatest.
Be thee well my children and God bless you all. Amen![]()
Did not Jesus come to free the prisoners, to heal the lame, give sight to the blind and to raise the dead?
(humor me!
in recovery, we set aside personal interpretations of scripture. instead of posting scripture to chastise, condemn, or of controversy interpretations: use scripture to exhort, build, encourage, love, teach. carry one another burdens, fellowship and comfort.
