When sinners pray to something they never met before, all their prayers go unanswered. Some vague random happening might convince some people that God answered their prayer but if you're his chosen one, he'll give you the desire to pray and the knowledge to what he wants you to pray for. This is the correct way to pray. We can only pray in his will and then he'll answer them every time. If you pray in your will, he doesn't hear you.

So if God hasn't told you you're one of his "chosen," don't even bother?

The problem is that sinners don't know who to pray to. And saints don't have to pray anymore. All we need to do is ask God for whatever we want and he'll give it to us.

He not only chose us saints and prophets to be conformed with Jesus as the Word but he also chose everyone's destiny when made plans before creation. If you're a religious person, that's who he wanted you to be so be the best religious person you can be. The religious Jews who rejected Jesus were all chosen to reject him. The Roman government were chosen to have Jesus killed.

We have no choices in the will of God but sinners don't understand God's will so it appears to them they have choices. I never made a choice to be a preacher of the gospel and every step of the way, I had to obey God's commands.

If you hear the truth in these inspired words, then it's possible you're a chosen one who needs to keep listening. But you won't follow him unless you're chosen.

All flesh of man are like puppets that are in God's will (plans). Only those of us who died to our sins are enlightened and learn that we're chosen by God to speak for him. You're only a sinner who can't understand the will of God.

It sounds like you went to the same grade school that I went to a LONG time ago. My guess is that they don't use that punishment anymore.
