What has God been teaching you lately?
Hmmm...good question. My guess would be that He is trying to teach me patience (good luck there, King!). He has nearly completely broken my spirit lately. I assume it's to build me back up and hopefully into a new and improved version.
What are three of your strengths?
I think my sense of humour, caring personality....um...a third, eh? I guess honesty.
3 of your weaknesses?
I'm emotionally weak....I cry easily at touching stories/commercials. I get frustrated easily also.
Two other weaknesses.....chocolate...does that count? hehe
Sometimes I speak before I think or act before thinking.
Right now activities pertaining to faith are at a weak point.
What advice would you give a single person wanting to be married?
hmmm....marriage isn't what it's cracked up to be. No, seriously. I really can't say here because this is one of the areas I personally am struggling in right now so anything that came from my brain on this subject could not possibly be constructive.
What advice would you give a sick person wanting to be well?
Pray and visualize yourself healthy and whole. Do the things that bring you joy and I think it will get you back to better health again (assuming their illness isn't totally debilitating)
What advice would you give to a dying person who wants to live?
Wow! You've got some tough ones. Ever thought about a career in journalism? lol Better not....it doesn't pay well.
Anyway....I think the answer may be similar to the one for the previous question. Not to sound cliche' but the song "live like you were dying" is some of the best advice I've heard regardless if someone is healthy or terminally ill. We're all going to die at some point....don't let it control how you live the rest of your life.
What advice would you give a married person who wants to be single?
Think about the other person, your children.....how will your leaving affect them? Ask yourself why exactly do you want to be single? I would ask them about communication....what are they not communicating to their spouse that is causing them to feel dissatisfied and unfulfilled? What is the spouse doing/or not doing/ to cause them to want to leave? As a side note, I would remind them how much the dating scene sucks too!
What advice would you give to someone with a broken heart?
This too will eventually pass.....It's what I keep telling myself.
What advice would you give to someone who is lonely?
Hmmm...probably the same thing I said on the previous answer. Also though, think about what things you enjoy and look for places where you can meet up with people who share these interests...that's what I am trying to do now anyway.
What advice would you give to someone who was unsure of their calling?Man.....these are all issues I personally am dealing with! lol Pray, pray and pray some more. Go to a quiet spot with no tv, radio, internet, no distractions....pray and listen for God's voice. Maybe even fast if your health permits. These are things I personally haven't done enough of though so I reckon that makes me a little bit of a hypocrite. :-(
Do you like giving advice?
Sometimes.....I like letting people know they are not alone (because most of these problems I am either going through or have been through) and reminding them that someone does in fact care. God gives out better advice than me but I can be the human voice if He wants.
Do you like receiving advice?
Yes. Because I am so unsure of so many things right now, the more people want to give me advice, the better. I'm all ears!
What is the worst piece of advice someone gave you?
I had a shrink once tell me one way to combat loneliness and frustration would be to find a man for sex only.
Needless to say I quit going to her.

I'm still waiting on that but I think if I got into reading Proverbs like I should, I may find what I'm looking for.
