We do not hamper their right of worship, why do they under the cloud of offence take away ours?

In a classroom of 30 kids if their 2 Muslims, one Buddist, and one devil worshipper, let them wait out side the room while the 26 other kids pray in Jesus name.

Why do the 26 others have to abide by the 4 kids wishes.

Welcome to the bleeding heart, left wing, liberal Democrats who have ruined open religion in this country (USA). The Dems have taken "seperation of church and state" out of the context that it was meant for, and have abused that to shut down conservatives. If anyone has ever voted for a Democrat (Clinton and Obama specifically), you contributed to the problem.

This country is no longer about the majority rules. It is about not offending minority group rights, and to heck with the majority.

yeah but the republicans had there part to, if they were not so concerned with money and they did their jobs.

Liberals say let everyone do what they want, republicans say let no one do what they want. America needs a good leader.

You're still exacerbating and clinging to what I see as the problem here, that some kind of nationalism has replaced Christianity as the religion of the people. I don't think it is right to say: "it is [nationality] to be Christian" such a statement defies Paul's thinking in places such as "there is neither Jew nor Greek..." "while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord..." the writer to the Hebrews when he talks of us being "Strangers and exiles ... desiring the heavenly country..." or even Christ when in front of Pilate says that "my Kingdom is not of this world." We are first and foremost citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, that is our nationality and that is where we are eagerly awaiting to take up residence and you know what there is a National Church there.

Does this mean we stop preaching Christ and him Crucified? By no means, it simply means that if we start looking to a country as an image of the Church (because that is what you are doing) then you will be disappointed.

Nationally we should be a Christian nation but not a national single denomination.

For Christians go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.

There is only Christ no Church there is only the Body.

The word Church was added to the King James by a Catholic Bishop, who sought to exort the earthly Church he died before it was printed.

I'm done here, I have given Scriptural reasons why I think your nationalism is attacking and replacing your Christianity and you're just replying with points I feel either have no connection to what I've said, or feel I have already addressed.

Christ Himself stated that his kingdom is not of this world. Why do you and others insist on slapping the label "Christian" on the U.S.?

What about the Jews and people of other faiths that live here in the U.S.? Or those of no particular faith? As a "Christian" nation, should we insist on indoctrinating them in our faith through our schools and other public institutions? Should we allow them to worship freely (as our forefathers meant) or instead only allow "Christian" houses of worship? Should we allow people of other faiths to run for government office, or should we require our government officials to be Christians? Who should be allowed to vote? Only Christians?

What you propose is a slippery slope toward a theocratic form of government.
