Satanist want to erect a statue at the Capitol of OK.

It is not so much they expect this to be done, but a law suit over the ten commandments is going on and they want to say if we can't neither can you. Other groups are now wanting their own statue as well.

And any Satan worshiping teacher could show your kids how to worship Satan. On the fact that they put up the ten commandments I still don't understand why we don't post something from the sermon on the mount or even just the verses to help someone understand the salvation plan.

But not all men are believers.

Plus, the law of God isn't only for the saint's benefit, but it is the code for all of mankind as well. God's law applies to everyone. It is how God expects the planet to function.

I fail to see how it is tasteless to remind people what their Creator commands of them.

The ten commandments were not part of the law of ordinance given in Leviticus.

The ten with the exception of the Sabbath were reaffirmed in the New Covenant.

From Acts,through the Pauline Epistles and in the rest of the books by the Apostles.

Christ rose on the first day of the week,thus confirming the new covenant.

So a epitaph of the ten commandments is relevant and God's Word.

Hardly tasteless,Holy Scripture to live by given by God himself.

While I do not agree with their views/beliefs, and certainly do not think it will send a positive message, the Constitution does preserve the freedom of religion...ANY RELIGION...and none can be discriminated against, so long as they do not endanger the life of another (such as sacrifices).

PA said they had freedom of religion which is true, but does a symbol of lawlessness belong in a place of Law? The ten fit because they are the first known Laws, the pagans were lawless. One could argue it is where civilized society got its start.
