In real life, I walk into bible study and people see this kinda gruff looking guy, arms covered with tattoos and they are not sure what to think. After I participate for a bit, they can see I truly am a Christian and now I'm the rough looking guy who knows his stuff. It's funny seeing how they change their mind about me after a while...

Yeah, that reminds me of a guy I knew (he's with the Lord now). He was covered in tatts, had weapons hide all over his body, like 5 in this pocket, 4 in that pocket, looked like he stepped right out of hells angels, but HE WAS THE COOLEST guy ever, and just a genuine as it gets. You can use that physical attention, to get their attention on God, GO FOR IT, that's awesome. We should judge no one. Looks are deceiving. Ole sayin goes, "can't judge a book by its cover".

Hehe, I don't loathe shopping but I have become a PRACTICAL shopper. Forget the fancy shoes and dresses (although they're good to a POINT)... I'd rather get me some seeds for my garden and all the supplies that are needed with it! Gimme some DIRT, man!

I will admit, I'm not much of a fisher or a fan of the sea/lake creatures! LOL My kids got me a real clam with a pearl inside for mother's day and I had to take a few gulps to open it up on my own. Oh man! LOL I'll take the land, you all can take to the water. Vin vin!

We used to go camping a lot, but since the Lord blessed us with our dream, we "camp" every day. We live on 80 acres with no neighbors within 2 miles of us. Our next wish is a fly in fishing trip on a float plane to Canada.

Amen, we are still praying for the funds and guidance to put up a small cabin on our north 40 and invite pastors/preachers to come if they need to get away from the pressures of ministry and refresh themselves in God's country.
