Right and there's more.

Our money says 'In God we trust', even though it's just pandering as those who run things don't follow him in any way. But the problem is we don't trust in God as we should but we trust what secular men teach and tell us. We swallow it hook line and sinker.

I know it can cause quite a readjustment problem, I myself have gone through many times of finding out the truth about something or someone and went through the 7 stages of grief, which is where we find ourselves when the world we live in is nothing but a facade.

Shock
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Testing
Acceptance

While I may not have spent much time on some of those, others took years. (Time heals all wounds). But even at this point in my sixth decade on this earth I still have not gotten used to being lied to. I hate it with a passion, I think it's one of the most destructive forces on earth and can understand why G-d hates it too.

There is no coincidence, life works on cause and effect.
Of course. I completely agree. I'm just saying that sometimes Big Effects have very small causes -- 3000 people can be killed by a very few nobodies with boxcutters.

These are not conspiracy theories..

Conspiracy theorists mix facts with fiction. It's what makes their theories more appealing.

But don't you admit it yourself that you think a grand conspiracy is running the world, and that there are a lot of little conspiracies under it? I mean, we've talked about this before. We simply aren't going to agree on this. Be at peace.

Is the political shenanigans towards socialism just blind foolishness or deliberate?

Of course but that doesn't mean it wasn't staged.
Staged by the men who did it, with help from the organization they were part of (Al Qaeda).

Again, Big Events can be caused by small things. There is no NEED to think that 9-11 was the work of Israel, or the US, or the Jews, or the Illuminati, or whatever.

Small events, like shots to the back of the head, labelled suicide, just a small event, covering a bigger purpose.

Just blind foolishness. Socialists really believe what they say. And indeed, the best way seems to be something midway between capitalism and socialism, so a modest amount of it is healthy -- just don't go off the deep end.

What do you think of this guy Schultz from Starbucks who is considering running as an Independent?

When he said that he would prefer to support same sex marriage, I got the idea that he is not my cup of tea. I do not think that at a business meeting, orientation should have been brought up in the first place. I also didn't like the way at one of his shops, a couple of black gentlemen were treated, before, during or after in response to the attention given. My impression of him is guarded.

I was born and raised in Canada, thus lived in a socialist capitalist society. I can say that socialism has hampered a lot of capitalism from soaring in Canada. The taxes for this that and everything in between is hard on the people in Canada to do things and get somewhere. As for anyone looking at Canada today, socialism is leading the country into Islam through their liberal Prime Minister, Trudeau. I would not want to live there now.

If he supports same sex marriage, all I can say is yuck. And as an ex-Dem he probably supports abortion. I wonder how as a Jew he feels about Israel? That is a REALLY big thing for me. Also a really big thing is whether the LBGT issue should be shoved down our kids throats in public schools, and whether transsexual kids should use bathrooms of the opposite sex. I'd like to see Medicare offered to all, with the option to remain with private health insurance. And I'd like to see our relationships with our Allies repaired. Also, the environment is a biggie for me, and we've lost a lot of ground with this administration. I think Schultz would help with much of this without swinging as far to the left as the Dems.

I'm assuming you'll vote for Trump again. I hope you realize that for all my complaining about him, I really do respect your freedom to make that choice. And it's not like I disagree with everything about him. Like every candidate, there are pluses and minuses. I am not a Democrat that believes he will destroy our country.

As someone in the medical field, medicare is not the best in coverage. Many a doctor after finding out what insurance they have, will direct them to what is available under that coverage. Just because a doctor doesn't offer it, doesn't mean that it isn't what would work in your case. Medicare does not pay enough for a doctor to remain in practice if that is all he is getting. The volume necessary daily dictates less care and more hustle with poorer options.

I think my assumption is that it would be a Medicare/Medicaid combination, which is pretty full coverage.

I think that health care is part of "providing for the general welfare." At one time the government couldn't do this, as Medicine was barbaric, and taxes weren't high enough. Now we can. We are fortunate to live in an age where the whole standard of living for all people, from rich to poor, is so very much better. It needs to improve on the health front as well.

Little collective coverage, doesn't make it "full" coverage. It make it minimal coverage.

Actually dual coverage from Medicare-Medicaid does provide full coverage. They call it Medi-Medi and it's one of the best insurance programs out there, if you can get it in HMO form.

Like I said, what the insurance doesn't cover the Dr doesn't bring up as an option. You do not know how much is not allowed under your coverage. If you had BCBS [high end] or Tricare, for example, you would be offered the best. I must clarify, that with Tricare, sometimes it is a battle between the doctor and the insurance company on your behalf to get the care he believes is best for your condition.
