  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

OK, I know this is not Philosophy or Morality but I don't see much Christian games online so here's a silly one I found:

http://www.inthebeginninggame.com/game/holytyper.html

Actually, what DO you think of games like this? Do they have any meaning or effect or are they just someone wasting their time on trivial nonsense while they could have used their time better promoting the word of God or some other good cause?

Does anybody remember the wisdom tree games for NES. Man those were great.

I suppose you could see the games as an educational tool, or at least "safe" compared to other games (at the very least). Or I even suppose you could see ALL video games as a waste of time.

I missed the link on the game itself, I think the made the game to promote a board game they've developed. I suppose that kind of makes sense. I suppose viral marketing is something that works on the net. I've had loads of games from the likes of HP and Coke to promote their brand. Maybe this is a way for Christians to spread the word as well?
