Wayne,
First off, Hi!
I am also from St. Louis!
Anyways, I think that as long as you let God take control of it, you should be fine in a relationship like that. Distance is nothing if both parties are truly in love. Love can reach across any distance. Love can overcome anything. No matter what it is. If it is a situation, a circumstance, distance, even forgive past mistakes- Love can erase it all. True love can overcome anything. It really can. I will keep you two in my prayers. I hope the best for both of you. I hope to see you have a romance. If you feel it in your heart, what does it hurt to try? Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Take the chance on love.
This is my opinion. I may just be a hopeless romantic. Which is a rare and dying breed these days.
God bless you.

All that time and energy I spent on worrying about something that was bound to fail. Maybe it was a lesson I needed to learn but, in hindsight, I could've done so many things differently like, say, not get attached to a complete stranger just to realize I wasn't even attached. It's easy to get infatuated like that; the more thought you give something, the bigger it grows in your mind.
