Hate for christians

Being born into a Muslim family, I always knew that there were people out there who did not like us.
I never knew what hate was until I left Islam and embraced Jesus.
It's wonderful to know the word is alive today and whenever I receive hate from people I just remember the words of Christ-Matthew 15:18-20

I hope you're doing better. It's so hard to leave from a Muslim background. You can never have too much support on this.

I'm sorry for the hurt you feel towards the church truthinthedark. There are many things done in the name of God, that He has never sanctioned and if you are a victim of this, I am so sorry. I pray that God will bless you and heal you and show you the extent of the freedom that Jesus paid for on the cross. Freedom from guilt, unforgivness, bitterness, low self worth, freedom from the need to please man, and a freedom to love those that hate us back. It is truely awsome, and it sadness me that ther are so many "religous" churches keeping people from this freedom. I pray that you one day find a church that can show you the true love and grace of Jesus xxx
