You have to allow that they believed, rightly or wrongly, that it was more dangerous to stay where they were.

Those who die or are raped along the way are proven to have believed falsely. Whoever they listened to who told them to go on such a journey and that they would be accepted into this country even though they are illegal (mayors of sanctuary cities here can take the lion's share of the blame for that) were a bad source of information. They should have made themselves better informed about what they were doing before embarking on such a journey.

What could be either way? The game plan is to deport up to 20 million people to places unknown, to conditions unknown. There seems to be a distinct lack of empathy being shown to these people.

Those who will be deported know where their home country is. That's where they will be going--home.

It's not about me, either. But I have concerns about what is likely to happen to these people if Trump does as he has promised. Maybe it's my Christian upbringing. Or just a natural concern for people who haven't been as lucky as I have. Who knows. I'll probably go with the latter as I don't see many examples of Christian compassion when it comes to immigrants these days.

I have no idea. But I am concerned. Because nothing has been said about how all this is meant to work. And I really mean nothing. It's all simplistic solutions. Send them all away! Exactly who? All of them! Send them where? Away from here! How? It doesn't matter! What will they do when they get to wherever they are sent? I don't care! Where will they live? Not my problem! How will they live? That's their problem!

Why post an article that confirms exactly what I've been saying?

'Very few details' in this case means none at all. Trump has no idea and neither do you. This as well:

'...but Trump officials said they plan to prioritize deporting those who pose a risk to public safety.'

He can't even differentiate from an immigrant and a US citizen from Texas. The guy has absolutely no idea.
