Has anyone ever played Archmage?

The game went down when MariTel seemed to give up on it but it is now back under new management.

For those who don't know you play a reincarnated mage who battles to rule the world and get into the top 10 before Armagedon strikes yet again. I rather enjoy it and think it is the best game of it's type (Massive Multiplayer on line games).

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Ohhh I used to play Magewar quite a lot back when Mari was running things. I just recently found it again at the reincarnation. It's a ton of fun to play. A very good strategy game.

Used to play it. Knew it was back up a month or two ago, but read in the forums that it's still basically filled with multis, so didn't bother joining.

Hmm I haven't seen too much being posted about that recently. The people running it seem to be doing a decent job of cutting down on multies.
