I think this could be a good show. By what I seen of previews.
We'll see.

I liked this post especially. It seems our own USincognito called the Forbidden Planet a year before anyone else!

I thought the premiere was a little convoluted, but I can tell they're trying to layer the story. I'm going to give it a few more weeks to see how it develops. I think the thing in the jungle gives the show a Forbidden Planet feel, which it taking me some time to adjust to. I got the impression from the previews that it was primarily alluded to, but then the situation with the pilot occured and it's obvious that it's real.

Gah! How could I have been so flippant about The Pilot? I was hooked from the second half of that episode (the 2nd hour of it).

I've posted in another thread that I finally got to see Forbidden Planet on AMC or SciFi, and the noise the monster in the movie made, while not exact, was very close to that of The Monster on Lost.

When I tuned in that night, I hadn't been watching much episodic drama. Mostly RTV, sitcoms and police proceedurals, but since then I've given a few new ones a try, most recently Heros.
