Has a creationist ever won a CvE debate?

Not Amarillo, but in Texas,

must be a Texas thing then!

It's not just a Texas thing. I grew up in rural Illinois where there were about 50 churches for an area with slightly more than 10,000 people. Two Catholic churches, dozens of Protestant churches and nothing else. Literally everyone was a Christian.

Creationists have certainly walked away from debates thinking they've won.

It's damn hard to "win" a debate when everything points to the fact that you're wrong.

Creationists have won plenty of debates. They can spout off 'information' faster, in more interesting ways, and generally appeal to the heart and religion of the audience much more. Many creationists here have certainly written posts and believed they have won, and refuse to perceive the truth.

However, in any written or real contest, evolutionism will always win over creationism.
