CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My friends and I will probably see it at some stage

I'll be going!! I just read all the books and watched all the movies this month, so I'm a new fan!!! Our youth minister's wife said my boys and I should go with them to the midnight showing. I told her I'm old and I'd probably fall asleep!!! So, I'll just have to see. It'd be fun, but I'd have to work the next day!

Normally I make it a point to go to the first showing myself, but this year I have a small one (1 1/2). I guess I'll have to sneak away at lunch time one day while she's at her Nana's.
Hey, did you know they took out all the quiddich? I wonder how that will make the story line since a big part of it is their problems on the team (the twins, Ron and Harry).
