She's adorable! So long as you don't mind the nipping, the humping is simply dominance behavior and shouldn't effect her negatively if you don't mind that she thinks she is "in charge" of you (and so humps you to show you her thoughts). The only time she "nips" is me at night if I bother her, however its only when she's grumpy. Other than that she's very sweet and docile. I guess you'd consider her play fighting nipping too, however thats not meant to be painful, and its not really biting its more like "oh my dog teeth are gently touching your hand", lol. She's not the dog that tries or wants to hurt. Very loving. She doesn't pee in the house unless no one is here to let her out, other than that she tried to jump out of a speeding boat once to do her business so she's pretty well trained that way too. Her humping behaviour mainly occurs when I use a certain blanket (one I sleep with everynight) its the only time she humps is when I'm covered in that blanket.
Just to give you a better image of my dog's temperament though lol we asked the vet and she didn't really know other than maybe hormones. Anyways, here's a photo of my sweet girl, her name is Remington by the way.![]()
At least, that is what Animal Planet has taught me. *wink*
