yeah so i stumbled upon this forum by finding the hardcore dancing thread and though it was interesting that there were some hc kids on here so i signed up and ishk. but i just thought ide see if there were any real hc kids and what kinda stuff you listen to. i listen to a lot of stuff like terror, throwdown, bane, american nightmare, etc... but im also into christian stuff like the comeback kid, sinai beach, and stuff like that. im in a christian metalcore band called forging the warhammer ( forgingthewarhammer.cjb.net ) feel free to check out our website.

alot of those bands are metal, not hardcore. But who cares. Some HxC bands i like are The Sloths, Point Of Recognition (my all time fav) Comeback Kid, StrechArmStrong, Strong Arm, and Selfmindead

Is there much of a diiference between the two? I wouldn't know.
Heck i classify music into 3 catagories
Rap
Hard Rock
And Country

So if i aint Hard rock, and it aint got no rappers, its country.

I tell ya straight up I'm not ur true hXc kid. I hang around & go to conerts with some guys that are [including my bro], but I'm really not deicated to any one scene, I just like visting em all. But the hXc is my favorite and I have a ton of respect for anyone who's more than mall core. I listen to as much metal as hardcore but some of my favorite right now are: Haste the Day, Norma Jean, MewithoutYou [although I don't know what genre the really fit into?], Underoath, Sympony in Peril, Dead Poetic's "old stuff", Demon Hunter, Blindside, Project 86, and I heard there's this good band called Dress for Tragedy ..ya don't know too much about them but it sounds like a good ring.

Dead Peotic is the only HC band you named. The good ones are the agony scene norma jean and bands like that

dead poetic is emo, not hardcore. Strech Arm Strong is hardcore (kinda hardcore punkish) Blindsides old stuff (a though crushed my mind and self-titled) is hardcore.

I can't see any problem with it, as long as you mosh with respect.. which is what hardcore is about, anyway. And, honestly, it's just not the same when there's no pit. It really does add something to the show, even when you don't participate.

nope sorry haven't heard of them, but if there as good as they are doing grindcore

Dead Poetics new cd "New Medicines" is an awesome cd. Songs like "Modern Morbid Prophecies," "New Medicines," and "The Dreamclub Murders" are great points in the cd.
