  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How did the flawless order in the whole universe come into being?
Who provided the delicate balances in the world?

How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?

How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?

these are just the beginning questions... I would like the evolutionists friends to answer them please. I am afraid if they are going to talk about coincidences? or will they try to find some logical answers...

Well, I'm probably not the first to answer, but what the hey?

Well, to put it frankly, the universe is largly disorder. Vast amounts of it are complete and total entropy. The only reason small pockets of order form is because of the continuous expansion.

Who provided the delicate balances in the world?

Who said the earth is balanced, much less "delicatly?" Climate changes are routine, ice ages devastate ecosystems, the magnetic field shifts polarity every few million years or so, and 99% of all organisms that ever existed on earth are now extinct.

How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?

First of all, the human body has trillions of cells, not billions.
Secondly, organisms didn't start out with lots of cells. The first lifeforms were single-celled. When primative multi-cellular oganisms evolved, the cells all preformed the same functions. Over time, organisms got bigger, and cells began to specialize.

How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?

Evolution.

these are just the beginning questions... I would like the evolutionists friends to answer them please. I am afraid if they are going to talk about coincidences? or will they try to find some logical answers...

I look foreward to more of your "hard questions."

earth spinning around on its axis, whilst orbiting around the sun, whilst having the moon orbiting around the earth, whilst our sun's solar system, with its planets, all orbiting around through the milkyway.

is this disorder?

What flawless order? Right out of the gate you ask a loaded question. Not exactly a good omen for the rest of the post.

Who provided the delicate balances in the world?

The same person who makes your coffee fit so perfectly into your coffee cup.

How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?

They don't. That is why no one is every truly 100% healthy.

How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?

Speciation.

these are just the beginning questions... I would like the evolutionists friends to answer them please. I am afraid if they are going to talk about coincidences? or will they try to find some logical answers...

Logical questions would be helpful.

Provision implies that the provider was before the provided. You can't have something before something else if the second thing was the boundary of time. It's like asking what you can draw to the left of the paper's edge. Exactly.

How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?

DNA and hormones. Learn some basic biology.

How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?

...evolution? This isn't hard at all.

Uh... jeki, it doesn't count as a coincidence that Earthlife developed on Earth. They basically filled the available niches. To ask something like that is like asking how it's such a coincidence that water fits perfectly into the dish.

Physics.
Who provided the delicate balances in the world?
Fred Nerk. (What a stupid question.)

How does each one of the billions of cells in the human body know and perform its individual tasks?
Cells don't know anything. Apparently they share much in common with you. What causes them to perform their tasks? Chemistry.

How did living beings, incredibly diversified in nature, emerge?
From their respective seeds, eggs, uteruses etc.

Seriously though, this is really simple stuff. How did life begin? Unknown at this point. How did life diversify? By evolving.

Jeki, doing a quick search on your posting history, you've never posted more than once in your own threads. Do you just shotgun a bunch of BS every few weeks in the hopes that someone reading your topics would begin to doubt evolution?

...

How is this a difficult question for the ToE? It is the exact question that the theory addresses.

There is no order, much less a flawless one.

Why does there need to be a person/thing to do that? All I see is anthropomorphism.

jeki said:

Trillions, actually. How does a water molecule know to be a liquid at 50 degrees F? It doesn't "know". It's chemistry as usual.

There's a scientific theory on that one. I can't remember what it's called...

And somehow you think that an example of this kind of majesty and beauty plus all that we know about the complexity of life there on earth is what some type of cosmic explosion gave to us?

You must be terribly afraid of something to work as hard as you do to create the allusion of such an alternative. Is it the fear of religious take-over, fear of accountablity to a greater authority or an inherent propensity to challenge or question such possible authority.

The reason for such rejection has to be much deeper than the intellect. The intellect can easily agree with the rationale that the effects of the majesty of the universe supports at least the possibility of a much greater first cause. Your objections must indeed be based in some presupposed philosophical objection.

Ahem. That was why scientists came to the conclusion that the universe is expanding-- because a majority of the visible objects are moving away from us.

As opposed to making up a some mythical supernatural being to quiet your fears?

This is exactly what fundamentalists do!

At least science is using logic and rationality to explain the things that might scare the ignorant.
