CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cliff, you almost gave me a heart attack! I thought "is today Saturday? I'm a whole day BEHIND? Why did I get up and get ready for work?" Then I noticed you were from Australia. It IS Sabbath there I guess. We're in the Preparation Day in the states yet.

Here's a little bit of Sabbath-related trivia:
A. There are 365 days and six hours in one year.
B. In this there are exactly 52.17857 Sabbaths per year.
C. Multiply 52.17857 Sabbaths a year times 6,000 years of earth's history and you have a total of 313,071.43 Sabbaths. Satan has broken each and every one.
D. During the millenium Satan is bound for 1,000 years. Sin will cease, 1,000 years of rest and peace.
E. During the millenium there will be 52,178.57 literal seventh-day Sabbaths.
F. During the millenium there are 365,250 literal days.
G. Subtract the literal Sabbath days from the amount of literal days:
65,250.00
-52,178.57
----------
313,071.43
The remainder is 313,071.43. The exact same number of Sabbaths in 6,000 years of earth's history. Satan will also have to rest these days to make up for every one he has broken.
