I do not know why God created Eve that way. But this book is 3500 years old. NOW Science well tell you that the best place to get the DNA is from the bone marrow. How did Moses know 3500 years ago what Science is just now starting to figure out?
I thought I made it pretty obvious that my question referred to the bolded part. But never mind, you answered that later, so...

The Bible states that the best place to get a sample for Deoxyribonucleic acid extraction is bone marrow? You think it really says that? :eheh:
It probably doesn't, if only because blood is so much easier to obtain and contains ****tons of DNA. ^_^ Of course, why would technical difficulty hinder God, of all things?

HSCs are found in the bone marrow of adults, which includes femurs, hip, ribs, sternum, and other bones.

[...]

New breakthroughs may soon bring this debate to an end. Scientists have larned how to stimulate a patient's own cells to behave like embryonic stem cells. These so-called induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells are reducing the need for human embryos in research and opening up exciting new possibilities for stem cell therapies.
But stem cells are not valued for their DNA - which is exactly the same as that of any other somatic cell, barring mutations during your lifetime. They are valuable because of their behaviour - which is a consequence of how their DNA is used.

DNA is much easier to obtain from any number of other tissues, and you don't need a stem cell to clone an organism. Dolly's DNA came from a mammary gland cell.

Of course, our genetic engineering God would have to get rid of Adam's Y chromosome and duplicate his X, or Eve would be one strange woman...

Yes a man can make a women but a women can not make a man.
Adam would have his mothers mtDNA. Actually in ever cell of his body.

The difficult question would be the virgin birth of Jesus. Because Mary does not have any Y chromosome as far as we know. There could be some of His DNA on the Shroud of Turin, but right now the Catholic church will not allow them to run any more tests on the shroud.

The scientific method has no way to prove any historical events.
Steps of the Scientific Method

All of science uses observations made in the present to reconstruct events that happened in the past.

Hypothesis: The 1917 pandemic was caused by a virus.

Null Hypothesis: PCR will not amplify viral DNA consistent with influenza virus, or produce false positives consistent with a no virus control.

Test: Use PCR and other techniques to amplify DNA from people who died during the 1917 pandemic.

Findings: PCR amplifies viral DNA consistent with an influenza virus.

Conclusion: The historic 1917 pandemic was caused by an influenza virus, an H1N1 to be exact.

Can you show where I did not use the scientific method?

There is no date on the Garden story or reference point of any kind.

Yes, like most myths.
