  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Are you all seriously attempting to say that LARPing and paganism are the same thing? I don't get it. I find this thread slightly confusing. I must have missed something somewhere. Seriously, we all understand that if you agreed with paganism you'd be pagan and not a Christian- but it is quite a stretch to be this, whatever this is about it.

Re marriage: If the government were to outlaw my marriage tomorrow- it wouldn't make me look at myself as any less married. The sacrament takes precedence over whether the government recognizes it or not. If one is handfasted or married in their religion- then I'd say the people involved in that wedding consider themselves married whether the government recognizes their marriage or not (or even people with differing opinions from other religions). Personally, I think the government needs to step back on this one. And- that probably is a rather liberal stance- which is why I don't talk about it to other people in real life. And- if that also isn't what this thread is about- then I apologize and am even more confused.
