Hamster Names.

I have had hamsters basically all my life and have had a running theme through all their names:
Duchess
Marie
Toulouse
Burleoise.

Can any one guess the theme?

I would have to go with Halifax's guess, more specifically, French Royalty.

I've had so many hamsters, I've had Button, Rush, Nibbles, Mama Ham (she had 8 babies 3 days after I got her), Buster, Bliss, Cosmo and Razzie. I may be getting another one here soon, not sure yet though. Depends on what colors I can find. I tend to go for the unusually colored ones.

Wow! 30 years ago I had a hamster named "Hamatha J Junior MacEntire the 3rd" ... yes.. there were 3.... for short we called her "Hammie"!

My first hamster was called Snowball, he got that name because he was completely white. My second and current hammy is called Toffee....again a name based on his colour.
