I am new to thirtys but this seems the most fitting place to ask.
With guys that have problems with hair loss because they are so witty and intelligent, what kind of hair cut do you prefer on men. Do you like the hair long 3+ inches, med 1/2-3 inches, or short/shaved on men with thin hair on top?
Or should we continue to wear hats.
Because I'm 34, more mature about this, and it does not really matter as much as I'm just curious.

If a guy is losing hair, I think it looks best either really short, or shaved off completely.

Comb-overs or other "creative" hair styles that attempt to hide it usually make it worse.

 And long hair is diffenetley OUT!

I have had a shaved head for about 5 years, sometimes I let it grow to about a 1/2 inch. In the last few months I let it grow to about 1 1/2 and I'm getting the itch to shave it again. My wife likes it, I like the ease of the short/shaved length. I will prob. shave it when she's not looking. hehe

I usually like long hair (unless the man looks like a woman), but it depends on how it looks on the guy. My husband has long hair past his shoulders and down his back. I still think he looks good, but his hair is turning white as opposed to thinning from what I can tell.

More than anything I like a haircut that is in style. So, whether that's short, longish, or shaved off, it just depends on how each individual guy looks. One thing I can appreciate though is a man who is not insecure about thinning hair. Hey, it's a part of life that most men go through.

I've seen it work but most guys can't pull it off.

That's because ponytails are surprisingly strong! :D

But seriously man, it's your hair... wear it however you like. It's more important to be yourself than to change what you do with it for the sake of a few women who may or may not like it either way (at least that's what I tell myself). It's a subjective thing and, in the end, it's only hair. I don't think there's really a 'right' or 'wrong' thing to do with it, so long as you're happy with the look.

Let it go...when the hair is gone, its gone. I know...9 years ago I started to wear my hair like a crew cut. I love it. Never have to mess with your hair. The kids at school where I work let me know every day that I am "bald"...and I am proud of it. Its called maturity...lol. At least that is what I tell myself.
