Supply would not exist without the demand.

My point is, it's American dollars that are fueling the Cartels.
I agree. Just seems a bit conservative

It absolutely is. Our drug demand is a serious problem. And the fact we have cities that allow drug users to do drugs in public and throw their dirty needles around is adding to the problem. Drug addiction is a scourge in many ways. It causes so many problems including poverty and homelessness.

And our justice system is primarily geared to go after the dealers and not the users. We should be doing both and forcing users to get clean. Paid for by the state. Thats only one of my ideas for it, but simply trying to take down the the suppliers isn't working.
