CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was changing the radio station and slammed into a parked car... and trust me, Detroit at nite time is NOT the place to be stranded.

I spent some years as a professional driver, and people seemed to think I was good at it. And there's Danica Patrick, the first woman to win an Indy car race...
One of the things I learned as a professional driver: most people of both genders are terrible drivers, and I learned to expect that and allow for it.

Most of my friends said that I drove better drunk than sober....guess this would be the wrong time to air my opinions about women drivers
But then I had to ask how they knew that since they were drinking along with me???

Bow season for deer and elk (and special permit for moose and other critters) is from Sept 6th to Oct 26th. Then general (rifle)deer/elk season goes through Thanksgiving.
