Make your excuses. Spout your conspiracy theories. Tell us how this makes him an even better candidate. Also comment on what sentencing will look like. Between his outbursts, his contempt of court flirtations, his addressing the jury when that's a no-no. What I want to hear about most is how corrupt the judge was when he was found guilty by a jury of his peers......

After you justify all of his felonies and inform us of the corruption of his judge and the court system in general. Let us know about the same courts' fairness as it relates to race because every known statistic shows the disparity. When you do that, please explain why this is a corrupt court and the courts that have created a disparity between blacks and whites when it comes to pulling citizens over, convicting at a higher rate, charging higher bail, and not approving bail as often as whites, and longer sentences for black who are in the same legal situation as whites and are convicted of the same or similar crimes.

My "good, Christian conservative" family is being very vocal. And frankly it's pretty scary. Hopefully I've hidden my political views well enough, because they're talking about "getting even"...

Oh boy, that doesn't sound like the first thing I expect to hear from a good Christian. Has anyone broached the subject concerning he was found guilty by a jury and not just a corrupt judge? Do most of them assume someone is guilty and deserves prison if convicted of a felony, let alone what was it, 34 felonies? I suppose it would just cause an argument. People getting disowned and/or asked to leave etc. Sometimes it's better to say "Um-hm, I see why you are so upset, can I have another glass of iced tea?"

Seriously though, I do wonder if there is some kind of secret underground movement that is going to spring into place at sentencing.

My family believes the entire trial was fake. That the jurors are all Democrat plants picked by Joe Biden. There could not have been ANY evidence that they would have accepted.

And the reason is that they are brainwashed idiots who don't believe in education, critical thinking, or evidence.

If he is is appealing the conviction the conviction is not final which means that why would they impose a sentence on a "conviction" that he is contesting.

Happens literally all the time, nothing out of the normal for people to be serving their sentence mid-appeal. I do think it's unlikely he gets time behind bars, unfortunately, but plenty of people are in prison during appeal.

Wrong again......

The verdict IS final and in an appeal, they make their case to re-open the case. As for now, regardless what appeal he is applying for, he is a convicted felon facing sentencing. I wonder if it had been a black dude in the dock for murder if you would trust the judicial system? Is it his money, his connections, or his cult of personality that makes him above the law? Perhaps he should not be found guilty because you like him.

He has been found guilty so unless they re-open the case, he will remain a convicted felon. Your choice for President is a convicted felon. How does that make you feel? Perhaps if it were a violent felony, you would be willing to trust the justice system to make the proper decision (except for the rapes he paid hush money to cover up).

I don't know but my question is, why are all other people who have felony convictions felons but he is not? Considering now he can't rent an apartment or work for a bank among many many other places). I'm sure he doesn't need a job the way he juggles debt and bankruptcy and pays $0 in taxes on his billion+ dollar portfolio. Is he capable of doing anything wrong or are you ready to give all of your possessions to the Church of Trump and move to South America and drink the Kool-Aid that kills the whole colony?

The fact that he's behaved so badly during the trial (and possibly after the trial), may affect the sentence. Donvict doesn't seem to be able to keep his mouth shut.
