From what I have seen (and this is from hearing about things indirectly) they claim that Trump committed a crime for being a victim of blackmail and his lawyer at the time (who claimed that Trump did not know about the hush money payments, that he stole from Trump and that he was testifying to get revenge on Trump) misclassified the hush money payments.Well, I thought what he was charged with were crimes. The charges are listing the actions he took that violated the law, since they were actions he took as part of his attempts to falsify business records to cover up a case of campaign finance fraud.
Truthfully, I know you aren't actually interested in understanding the reason he was convicted, since you just want to pretend that he did nothing wrong. If you're going to do that, at least put some more effort into your posts.

Tell me, are you this skeptical of a jury's ability to come up with a fair verdict on any felony case or just St Trump? He may appeal but has he been granted a new trial yet? No? Then he stays a convicted felon until further notice. It's okay to take comfort in SCOTUS to make decisions based on politics instead of the Constitution. His appointees have done it before. Either way, today the Trump demi-god is a 34-count felon. Can you make your peace with that or do you feel the need to live in denial until his appeal is rejected? Will you believe the justice system? Can the justice system only be trusted when they lock up the poor and minorities? Be honest, I won't judge.
