Since you have so many trans friends, you must have gleaned that they are also human beings by now correct? Then why treat them like they are less deserving of happiness or at least contentment?

What does that have to do with me? I don't think I said anything out of pocket. They got snarky and so did I. Did I say anything other than trans people should be treated like human beings and it is evil to laugh at them? If they disclosed their gender change, the only difference is I would have known the laugh was directed at me and not their stance on transgenderism. No reason to walk on eggshells, like I said they are human just like me.

I'll ask you to specifically point out anything the judge said that either you personally think was wrong or might be a case for calling for a retrial. It's only 55 pages. Shouldn't take you too long.

Well, I thought what he was charged with were crimes. You know, people aren't charged with things that aren't. At least I always assumed that. I never actually checked. Lucky for us you did. Do you have any details?

From what I have seen (and this is from hearing about things indirectly) they claim that Trump committed a crime for being a victim of blackmail and his lawyer at the time (who claimed that Trump did not know about the hush money payments, that he stole from Trump and that he was testifying to get revenge on Trump) misclassified the hush money payments.

If I am incorrect - please correct me.

I would recommend reading the article then.

The charges are listing the actions he took that violated the law, since they were actions he took as part of his attempts to falsify business records to cover up a case of campaign finance fraud.

Truthfully, I know you aren't actually interested in understanding the reason he was convicted, since you just want to pretend that he did nothing wrong. If you're going to do that, at least put some more effort into your posts.

He owns New York. If he can't get a fair trial, he can't get one anywhere. Tell me, are you this skeptical of a jury's ability to come up with a fair verdict on any felony case or just St Trump? He may appeal but has he been granted a new trial yet? No? Then he stays a convicted felon until further notice. It's okay to take comfort in SCOTUS to make decisions based on politics instead of the Constitution. His appointees have done it before. Either way, today the Trump demi-god is a 34-count felon. Can you make your peace with that or do you feel the need to live in denial until his appeal is rejected? Will you believe the justice system? Can the justice system only be trusted when they lock up the poor and minorities? Be honest, I won't judge.

I am looking for people to help me regain trust in the justice system by explaining exactly what Trump supposedly did wrong.

I believe from your post that you are not interested in what Trump actually did or in justice - but you just glory in the idea that Trump has been smeared.

In this case, they're violations of New York Penal Law §175.10. Specifically 'Falsifying business records in the first degree'
