Guidelines for chat in Christian Chat Rooms?

What are some Godly guidelines to remember when chatting in Christian Chat Rooms? I'd be grateful for some advice over this. Thanks.

The guidelines are the same as for anywhere: "Treat all people with respect....in all things love." If some are unpleasant: "Do not exchange insult for insult or injury for injury....ignore insults...."

Do not give out your city or address to anyone you meet online, and probably not your last name, either. Do not make reference to things unique or geographically close to where you live.
