Here in the south, the favored 'grandma' nick is MaMaw. I am not sure I want to be called that, though. Some use Nana, I may go with that, since a lot of my personal friends call me Nae Nae. My mom, being from Wyoming, said she did NOT want to be called MaMaw. But when Jamey was learning to talk, that is what came out. We would tell him say grrrramma!! He'd say grrrrmamaw! I think we gave up, and just called her grandma to him, and he eventually got it!
