I doubt that if Archibald Alexander were alive today that he would approve of the many scientific misrepresentations found in the creationist literature.

If he perused this forum and saw what the lay Creationists post here, they'd be cleaning his head off the ceiling.

Usually its in reference to the "evolutionary sequence" of fossils, so I don't think so.

It took me 5-10 minutes to read this short article. You are pathetic for saying that you don't have the time, when you claim to be a geologist who believes in a global flood.

If I read it, it would take longer than an hour or even a few hours. I use brain when I read serious articles.

In fact, it would make me angry if I take the content of the article seriously.

So, why do you read these threads? It is abundantly clear from polls here that pro-evolution atheists outnumber creationists by about 5-1, may be more.

I have not read this issue of Geology Today. Provided this is a thread about geology and creationism. I even browsed the article. But I decided not to read it. It was a very simple and quick decision.

Have you ever seen this book?

In it, the authors detail what really sparked the French Revolution.

They wanted to divide time up as follows:

• 1 day = 10 hours
• 10 days = 1 week
• 10 weeks = 1 month
• 10 months = 1 year

With "minor adjustments" made along the way.

(Actually, it's been awhile since I've read that book. I'll dig it out and check my accuracy.)

Well, you said, and I can supply the quote if required, that if God told you the Bible was not his word, you would tell God to "Take a hike!" (dad said that in the same circumstances he would "kick his (meaning God's) keister".) The Bible, or more accurately your personal interpretation of it, is dearer to you than God.

I have not seen anyone correcting "us guys" on such subjects as "witch hunting, the Inquisition, and the Crusades". About Jesus and the "end times" and "this generation" all I have seen is a bunch of handwaving and claiming that Jesus didn't mean what he said.

So, if anyone points to Jesus and says "Lo, he is there", we are not to believe him. And well we might not, for Jesus was not annointed king, and never rescued the Jews from the Romans.



But we are far from the subject of the OP. Let us get the trolley back on the track lest it run over more Christians.
