I have no idea. Is there evidence to support that?

And who is that in your avatar, btw?
Yep, KristianJ called it. It is none other than Charles Haddon Spurgeon.

Oh, and about Kurt Cobain's death, everyone should read "Who Killed Kurt Cobain?" Not only was it a biography, it contained letters of his, and had a large section devoted to the investigation of his death.

goat37 I think you mentioned sometihng about Black Hole Sun....

that video... it gave me nightmares when I saw it... still to this day it creeps me out... but the song is amazing. I think Chris Cornell has one of the best voices out there.... (plus he isnt too hard on the eyes either ;))

When the grunge scene was at its peak... 91-94-95ish I was like oohhh lets see... lol I was around 8 hahaha... still playing with Barbies...
So I wasnt allowed to listen to any of it. It wasnt until I got a little bit older (when the dreaded new wave of manufactured bands came out) that I was forced to set outside the box and find new music. It wasnt until then that I really discovered and fell in love with the grunge music of the early 90's. Not to mention my breif experiment with The Misfits and the Sex Pistols :p

I believe that "Jeremy" was the first and last video that Pearl Jam ever made. Although it is considered a classic music video, the band must not have cared for it, and has refused to do one since (to the best of my knowledge).

And, yeah, I believe that everyone finds the Black Hole Sun video disturbing.

Does anyone else like Seven Mary Three? Definitely on the tail end of grunge, but "My, My", "Cumbersome", and "Water's Edge" are all fantastic songs.

I'm pretty sure they did one for "I Am Mine".

I have't seen the clip. What makes it so scary. Or would it be easier for me to pop a request in to one of the music channels on my pay TV and ask them to play it?
Ever put a Barbie on the BBQ? I love Soundgarden.

Im a huge Pearl Jam fan(went to my first concert last year:) ). They also have videos for Evenflow and Alive(as well as Do The Evolution but that was animated). They stopped doing videos because they were kind of scared at how popular the Jeremy video was, and they wanted to let the fans interpret the songs for themselves.

Evenflow and Alive are both footage from their concerts. Their not really MTV 'music videos'.

I really do love the Do the Evolution video. I can't think of one that I like more.
Has anyone seen the video for Girlfriend by Matthew Sweet?
