There's supposed to be a 5000 member LCMS church in Orange county somewhere. The Church I grew up in was the biggest around here, and it had a whopping 500 members, and about 350 attend.

There is a total of around 1000 on Sunday mornings - the 3 services put together. All our worship services are contemporary (pastor plays lead guitar). Median age is 35, and 1/2 the members are originally from different denominations. We also have open communion, which I mentioned before. It's different. I think my pastor used to be a pastor in San Diego, in fact.
