Growing in faith

I wanted to share my particular journey to and in Christ...

Since I was little, I always had a faith, but I guess I wasn't very religious (i.e. going to church, praying, reading the bible, etc.)

But as I have gotten older, I have gotten more religious and closer to Christ.

I know I have my OCD and that has interfered. BUT, maybe it is for the best that I waited until I was older to start taking more steps toward Christ.

I had religious OCD when I was little, but if I started to have the REALLY BAD THOUGHTS when I was a kid, I may not have survived to my adulthood.

I guess each person's journey in Christ is unique in some way. Anybody want to share? It'll be good for you.

i see what you mean. i was in sin honestly when i first began getting the thoughts and when i was making my way back to Christ they hit hard. like walking towards a door and being hit by everything, crawling on your knees, but God met me. He saved my soul. had I not had OCD I wouldn't know sincere prayer, or true praise, or the Word of God. the knowledge He gives me is so amazing. as much as I hate to say it, im glad I had the thoughts. what the enemy uses for evil, God meant for good. and I know this is a medical disorder but just as the enemy was behind Job's sickness. its okay, God is my healer. let the redeemed say so
