This touches my heart. It's a close representation to how Jesus must tend to us with such tenderness and compassion. It ministers to my heart. Sometimes it helps to visualize what God's 'tending' to us must be like. tHis helps.

God bless you,

Love,
Brenda
It helped me to Brenda...just look at those sheep, peacefully standing together in the shepherd's presence, he will minister to each and every one of them as needed.

Dear God.,I proclaim You Lord of my life..Help me to seek You first every day and set my priorities in perfect order.

Savedsis, this is so right. I literally can't make it through a day anymore without doing exactly what you have prayed. God seems to be drawing us closer and closer to him. And that drawing, begins a chain of spiritual activity that gets very intense. I can't draw closer, unless I deal with sin, I can't deal with sin unless I want to draw closer. And it all begins with Him placing the desire in me to draw closer to Him. Even in His commands, He gives us what we need to be obedient. God is so awesome, why He loves us so much is beyond comprehension.

I so agree with savedsis pilgrim and the others that feel this spiritual pulling toward God. Isn't it wonderful, it gives such blessed assurance that through His precious son, Jesus Christ, we can do the things His Word says we can, as that Word literally becomes alive in us. It's not only the way to get through the day (and the night) it is the best way!

His love truly is beyond comprehension, I love Him so much!

While I was sitting meditating this afternoon with my grandbabies on my lap, one taking her bottle the other snuggled up to me, I was praising God (in my silent voice LOL) for how much He must have loved me to offer His only son for my salvation, then it hit me: Wow, loves us all, all those in history, and all the little babies yet to be born. it was beyond comprehension.

Thanks so much for the edification and the love of Christ that is on this forum!

As I was thanking God this morning for His grace and mercy to allow me to be His, and offering thanksgiving praises that He chooses to grow me up in Christ, it hit me: Wow, this growing in Christ thing never ends! It shall continue into realms I can't even imagine. The glory of God is never ending, and He will show me more and more of His love and His heart.

I'm so glad there is no such thing as "all grown up".

For unto us a Child is born,
unto to us a Son is given; and the government
will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end,
upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
to order it and establish it with judgement and justice
from that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:6-7

Thank you all for the inspiration you post...It is all so uplifting....
Let us praise and worship the Lord at all times....We serve a risen Savior.....Worship is praising God for who He is, which in turn strengthens and builds our faith and gives us courage in the midst of whatever we are going through..

Lent is over. it has been a wonderful time of growing closer to JESUS. Tonight begins the emotional power filled high holy day.

the last supper
the agony in the garden
the farce of a trial
the scouraging; the crown of thrones
the curcification (they killed our LORD)
the death (the curtin seperating the holy from the secular split from top to bottom)
the barial
the empty tomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the empty tomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE is alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank YOU JESUS!!

Thank you so much for the joy and peace that comes from sharing the good news of our risen Lord!
Romans 10:15 (KJV) . . . How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

I've got my shoes on and I'm standing by the door!

Jesus chose to live with all the limitations of a human being...Why? Because He could not take our place unless He first took up our condidition...Salvation was dependent upon a man called Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, His life is therefore a demonstration of the way in which we can live, full of the Holy Spirit...

I was just out on the deck looking at all the new flowers and the new growth and this verse came to mind as I sat down here at the computer.

Lam 3:22-23
22 It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning : great is thy faithfulness.............

God's love is like the flowers of spring only on a daily basis.

Lord, I pray that I will seek you every day and not try to go through the day on my own but that I will allow you to work you will in me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen & :amen:

Spud...for what it's worth, this scripture came immediately to mind when I read yours...
Mal 3:6 "I, the LORD, never change. That is why you descendants of Jacob haven't been destroyed yet.

This word hit me one day that BECAUSE the Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever... is why even the wicked endure for so long...it's His compassion that gives us so much opportunity to see and repent...and continue in blessings all at the same time...like the flowers. :)

Blessings.
