Hi, glad to be here. There's so much here it's all a bit overwhelming, so please forgive any booboos on my part.
I'm English, living in Jakarta, where I work as a translator/editor. I grew up C of E (Church of England), taken to church every Sunday by my grandmother, while we were living near her, and then just with my brother and sister (I was 8 when we moved) until I was confirmed.
I wandered off in my teenage years, but God didn't forget me, and started the long, slow process of bringing me back, to the point where I started going to church again and wanting to know more about him in 1999. Looking back I can see signs of his gracious protection and guidance in my life, although I didn't recognise it at the time.
