Pointing out the obvious is not making accusations. Claiming a territory has not been made a state because of 'partisan discrimination is however - and it is an accusation you cannot provide proof of either.
I did not initiate the suggestion that Republicans would bar Democratic territories from statehood. A Republican on this thread did. I just repeated a Republican's believable statement.

I doubt it will become the 51st state. Neither will DC, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, America Samoa, or Guam.
It’d screw up the flag fer sure.
what’s not sure is why we allow American Citizens to be without representation.

All US territories have representation in the House. They sit in their chairs and keep their mouths shut.

So, I admit I'm not entirely knowledgable what is allowed to make a territory* a state.
I'm sure there is a long process. It won't be instantaneous. Trump has less than 4 years until he is no longer President.

*Yes, I'm aware Greenland is independent and the Kingdom of Denmark has some power over it. I doubt Greenland will ever be part of the United States . Greenland is NOT a territory of the United States, and it probably won't ever be, IMO.

Puerto Rico, Guam, The US Virgin Islands, American Samoa are all American territories. They are not states and I doubt that will change anytime soon.

Pointing out that they do have representation. Some serve on committees, one even had an important part in one of Trump’s Impeachment. A far cry from taxation without representation.

Trump didn’t change that. It’s been that way for quite a while.

No one is proposing statehood for anyone - it amazes me how one piece of disinformation can be considered viable.
Trump did mention loving to see Canada become the 51st state.
But it's Trump. He's says first, thinks later, if he thinks at all.
So not really disinformation.
Besides, what would our real 51st state Israel feel about that?
