How many of you like GreenDay?? I am like their #1 fan. I have everyone of their cds. I do have to admit some of their stuff is kinda out there but altogether their a pretty good ba

I don't overly like Green Day, but I do dig the tracks "Good Riddance" and "When I Come Around".

Really liked Dookie, but I just love American Idiot. They are fantastic in concert - I saw them at the beginning of the American Idiot tour in October 2004, and again this past August. Two of the best concerts I have ever seen (and I have been going to rock concerts for 30 years). I can't wait to see what they come up with for their next album.

Overplayed and Overrated

Actually I do like some of their songs in moderation but I'm never going to go out and buy any of their albums.

I do think it was funny how they were trying to "get their fans out there and vote!" when most of their "fans" are between 14-17.

...And if I hear "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" one. more. time....

I think I like them. What I mean is, I liked the American Idiot album (particularly Holiday) but I've not really listened to anything else they've ever done.

Other than 'wake me up when September ends (And I'm not even sure why I like that one), I really hate their music. They're irritating and extremely overplayed.

OK, I've tried really hard to not comment when I don't have anything constructive to say. I stayed away from the Enya thread and the Breakfast at Tiffanys song thread, but I can't pass this by.

They are bad.

I wouldn't say they're overplayed. But then, I can't listen to radios and I tune out background music when I'm shopping, so maybe I wouldn't know.

Well actually they are way over played, and over voiced. But i do like them.

They have those many great songs, and they are mainstream. But there older stuff is better

I like some of their stuff, but they don't rank up with my favourite bands.

My younger brother got me into all kinds of music.. Except his hard hard rock.

But he got me liking Green Day. The one song by them was actually played at my graduation. I forget the name of it, but now everytime I hear the song I want to cry because it reminds me of graduation day.
