I can't believe they are still trying to push the tomb theory?
And the moving of the stone by water in the sand?

Egypt is a desert except by the Nile Valley for starters. 6,000 lb stones slide across the desert? and then lifted high up with ropes?

Not to mention the Nile is over 5 miles away from the area.

Cavities? I didn't know it had teeth!

No but really that's neat. That said it's only going to egg on the ancient alien nutters.

Can't wait to see what they find out.
You got there before me! I saw mysterious cavities, and though someone really needs the dentist!

I'm an armchair Egyptologist fom way back. That said, I've fallen victim to these types of things before. I'll wait for the actual find of anything interesting before getting too excited. And frankly, I hope Zahi Hawass gets eaten by a mummy.

That is the problem, the archeological 'news' out of there is filtered through him. He has to report any findings in accordance with his own previous 'scholarly' interpretations or else make himself look uneducated.

Supposedly by the video at that link they interpreted the funeral mural before as a religious offering of water, now all of a sudden it's the way the pyramids were built.

One thing I can think of that totally destroys this 'new' interpretation is that back in the 80's I think it was (I too was an armchair Egyptologist for decades, but long ago) that they discovered after examining the Kings Chamber that there were crystals inside of that area. Salt Crystals. (The Nile is fresh water)

Now add that together with there being a primitive sarcophagus and no remains at all found (now who would go through all the trouble to get up in there and steal the old bones of the Pharaoh? Gold and such, sure, but the bones?) and the mathematical/Astrological placement of all the pyramids on Giza and you can't seriously take this new interpretation as anything but propaganda.
