Read the whole book of Job, and find all of it back in your heart! Especially God's answer to Job, in particularly chapter 41.

Can you put a cord through its nose

Will it keep begging you for mercy?

Will it make an agreement with you

I'll mention a few I have come across. I think whether one person finds a particular book helpful is down to each individual. Some find one book helpful, and for another it just doesn't connect with them.

Interesting thread. I've come across a couple of books that honestly didn't do much for me to help with depression and all.

I don't think in some sorts of depression a book will be enough. But I mentioned a few as I don't know that someone won't find find something helpful

But in my own experience its also been hard to find a counsellor I can really talk to, as I feel out of touch with what going on with me (proably my way of coping) that I can't even really talk about what's bothering me when I go to a counsellor.
