  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Step 1. Get carving knife, towel, and bandages

Step 2. Get in bath-tub

Step 3. Use the knife to cut away all un-wated fat from abs, this may hurt.

Step 4. Bandage and clean yourself

Congradulations! You now have some majorly wash-board abs!

Other than that, I dont know of any other way besides turning the gym into church

The truth about how to get the best abs that YOU can get -
A really great personalized and balanced workout that includes a cardio program, a full body weight program and an awesome healthy and balanced diet.
That is it, nothing else! ;)
It is real groovy, J

In college I used to do these exercises that were awesome for abs.

You lay down, on your back, on a bench and stick your feet up into the air.
Have your hands grip the side of the bench (thumb on top, fingers underneath) and left your legs up in the air. If you do it right, you feel DEFINITELY feel it in the abs. I wish I could show you how, its pretty hard to explain over the internet!
Anyway I got close to a 6 pack and I did this every day. I would have gotten it but I pretty much quit the gym when I went on summer break . :(

If you want to take it up a notch, do hanging leg raises from a chin up bar. Do them to the front and side. Holding onto the bar will also work your grip strength. You can also use a stability ball. Planks are also something you can try, it will put some variety into your workout, which I think was the intent of your original question.

What about doing Core Training where you do exercises that work your core. There are a huge variety of core training exercises. Pilates & yoga also utilize a lot of core and there is a variety there, too...endless variety. This is far more fun than doing crunches. There are DVDs/Tapes on these as well as many gyms have these types of classes.

I got a great book called the Abs and Back Book. Can't remember the author right now, I'll have to get back to you. Awesome pictures and use of the medicine ball and inflatable ball. I had recommended to some of my co-workers and they loved it!
Blessings!
