Does the Bible mention these ancestors?
No! but maybe those who were inspired to write the bible
were not informed re: these long-expired peoples [being, still in the ground / unfound]
Are you perhaps suggesting
that because the bible doesn't mention them... they DID NOT EXIST [?]
I see no clear indication [in the bible]
that Dinosaurs once, RULED the world _pre: 'The Garden'
and yet, God made 'everything',
in His time
thus, God made Adam, from 'the dust', which, doubtless
contained the remains of those pre-existing /long-extinct dinosaurs
Long before the dinosaurs walked the planet, they were in the seas
The earliest trilobites known from the
fossil record are fallotaspids, and redlichiids (both
order Redlichiida) and bigotinids (order
Ptychopariida, superfamily
Ellipsocephaloidea) dated to some
540 to 520 million years ago.
Breakup of Pannotia significantly predates the first appearance of trilobites in the fossil record, supporting a long and cryptic development of trilobites extending perhaps as far back as
700 million years ago or possibly further.
Exactly why the trilobites became extinct is not clear; with repeated extinction events (often followed by apparent recovery) throughout the trilobite fossil record, a combination of causes is likely. After the extinction event at the end of the Devonian period, what trilobite diversity remained was bottlenecked into the order Proetida. Decreasing diversity
[24] of genera limited to shallow water, shelf habitats coupled with a drastic lowering of sea level (
regression) meant that the final decline of trilobites happened shortly before the end
Permian mass extinction event.
[17] With so many marine species involved in the Permian extinction, the end of nearly 300 million successful years for the trilobite is hardly surprising.
[24]
The closest extant relatives of trilobites may be the
horseshoe crabs,
[7] or the
cephalocarids.

Trilobite - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
That all these creatures existed,
long before, other creatures
walked upon the land (ie: before mankind appeared)
IS KNOWN (today) ~proven 'FACT'
The bible, was written for 'men' and their kind
The omission, of these facts, from the bible, hides the true timescale
between the making of the earth and preparing it for mankind
The earth, took much longer than 'six days' to 'make', to cool
and to be 'made-ready' to support mankind
The 'mentioned' 6015 years, came and-passed
many times over
just, in the period, of 700 milion years (Pre-Cambrian thru Permian) ?
when, trilobytes developed and eventually, fell extinct
I don't have answers to cover these discrepancies between testable fact
and, the 'written word'
The only reasoning that I can apply [logically]
is that the earth was spinning faster then, than it is today
ergo, days / years were shorter and, more quickly accrued
Permitting Methusaleh's longevity, to become a possibility [?]
